RECENT HISTORY
Toroa purchased March 2020. Originally kept in Southsea Marina, she was moved to swinging mooring at Torpoint in June 2020. She has spent 7 months each year on a swinging mooring and the 5 winter months on-shore in a local yard.
Over the past 5 years has covered: 2320nm approx., with 345 engine hours. 70% single-handed.
Mostly sailed in SW coastal waters, plus cross-Channel.
PRIOR HISTORY
The previous owner sold Toroa having bought a much larger boat in which to circumnavigate with his wife and daughter. FYI they are now in New Zealand! He had taken Toroa to Scotland and Ireland during his tenure.
Before that, boat was based in Dartmouth for many years. Then named ‘Wild Blossom’, she had sailed Azores-and-back.
‘C’ prefix to the sail number suggests the boat spent time in the Clyde, SW Scotland.
